Giorgia Vecchini was born 02/09/1977 in isola della scala, close to Verona. After her bachelor she started studying “language and philosophy” at the university of Verona, and at present she is about to get her degree, with a final thesis about ”Harry Potter” .
In order to find money for her passion for cartoons (manga), and for all that brought her on a leading position within the Cosplay world, besides studying and giving private lessons, since 17 she took up several jobs, such as: barman during summers, hostess in exhibitions and in car conventions, looking after kids in after-school classes, till she got her present job: ground-hostess at “Valerio Catullo” airport in Villafranca, Verona.
Her Cosplayer activity started in 1997, when she took part to the exhibition in Lucca, dressed as Saylor Mars. Since that day her engagement and satisfactions grew unceasingly.
In 2003 she decided to make her own website, which soon became the point of reference on the web for all Italian Cosplayers.
In 2005 she became famous worldwide by winning the World Cosplay Summit in Nagoya Japan, granting her the awards for best individual Cosplayer and best team (Italy).
Daily, on her website, she releases news and curiosities as a real freelance, able to provide regularly thousands of messages about the world of Cosplay (and not only).
All her duties notwithstanding, she is devoted to furthermore passions, such as acting, skating, volleyball and basketball.
Tireless, Giorgia shows up in all the events, in Italy and sometimes abroad, within the field.
She definitely represents a “guide” for all the lovers of this terrific “trend”.
