Stefano Gilioli, called Gillio by his friends was born in Milan on 13th February 1972.
Since he was a child, with his Amiga 500 he has always been “playing” with the newest graphic programmes, till this game became a proper profession. When he finished his year at the army he attended a course in computer graphics at the European institute of design, in Milan. Here he became familiar and started experimenting with 3d animation, and soon he understood that this would be his professional AMBITION. But this career is not easy in Italy, and it was only after a few years that he started collecting the first satisfactions, and he started working for movie production with 3d animation.
We are therefore proud to grant the AMBITION Award to Stefano Gilioli

- for the perseverance of spending time and energy on a job which is fascinating, but very complicated
